Like it or not, I think we just have to accept that nothing is fair in this world. Some are born weak, some are born healthy. Some are born rich, some are born poor.

However there are ways to deal with it, if you work hard and work smart enough. We can find ways to make more, through working hard. Making money out of money is a good opportunity if we have spare saving. Even if we do not have a lot, we should start by making investment by little. For instant, starting by getting some bullion now and sell it later when price goes up. This can be one of the safest way to duplicate our savings, making more out of what we have.

Different Twin Boys

My twin boys are very different personally. Korkor is more shy and very dependent while Didi is very cheerful and very independent. Didi can play all by himself without disturbing anyone while Korkor wants only Mummy to play with him. Didi is fine when Mummy is not around, but Korkor will start searching high and low when Mummy is missing. Wonder if all twins are the same?

Loosing weight

It is so difficult to lose weight. I have been on healthier morning breakfast and started taking juice each morning for almost 2 weeks. Although it is good for my health, still not a kg loose as of today. How demotivated for someone who is trying hard to loose some weight.

I wonder if there is anymore way to loose weight as I have tried everything in the market but nothing works.

My girl is having her examination in another 2 days time. Can you imagine that this is her first test ever since she went to pre-school 3 years back? Not wanting to scare her off or make her panic, I am still not doing any revision with her. I went to have a chat with her teacher this morning and she said they are in the midst of preparing the kids with some revision. Good that they have good teachers, so I can have more time at home glueing myself to the computer. I definitely need to read up more about the gold coin as hubby and I are planning to invest later on when the price is more stable.

In school, teachers have their favourite and in office, the bosses have their staff preference too.

I noticed that they are the same girls who have been given a chance to dance, to perform each time the school has a celebration going on. I was very unhappy and decided to voice my dissatisfaction to my girl's school principle about this. Hence my girl was given a chance to perform this time, and she is very happy. I should have voice about my concern earlier so that other kids will enjoy the same privilege too.

My elder twin boy is definitely driving me crazy these days. He gets up extremely early in the morning and make a fuss when we are busy getting his sister for school. I wonder how a valuable gold coin look like. Gold does comes in all sorts of shapes and coin is the most affordable as compare to the bars. Although we will not have a chance to take out the gold (surely we would rather leave it in the bank than to keep it in our house), I am very tempted to see how a nice gold bar looks like.

Although the price for metal is ridiculous high at the moment, there is no better time for buying it than right now. Yes, temporary I am addicted to juice making. I try to consume one serving fruit plus vegetable juice with its pulp at least one day to keep my body healthy. Although I am secretly hopping that I will eat less by consuming juices so that I could shed off some weight easily. However it is not as easy as it seems as I still eat throughout the day!

One thing I like about my girl's pre-school is the frequent celebration they have in school. Not only there are things to see, games for play, there are also lots of nice food for the public to eat. Aren't they just so generous?

My girl will graduate from pre-school this year. And now I am in the midst of looking pre-school to send my sons to, next year. Do you think I should continue sending the boys to the same school as their sis or another school with different syllabus?

Everyone at home love to eat spicy food, except for hubby and my older twin. Hubby has a weak stomach so he gets tummy irritation whenever he eat too much chili. As for Korkor, he just can't stand the spiciness in his mouth. However his younger twin loves his food with a little bit of chili, at such young age, imagine. I hope this will not cause him acne in future as we have got a gene of acne skin problem. 5 kg and now?

I have actually lost 5 kg in total over the past one month for taking leptin coffee. The 5 kg is not really significant as many people cannot see any physical changes in me. Not sure if I still continue loosing weight like before, but I feel that my appetite has increased recently. Increased a lot in fact. I hope this will not make me gain back all the weight I have lost over the month.

My boys got this Lego set from their Uncle who just came back from Singapore last week.

It is the LEGO Racers 8211 Brick Street Getaway! Quite a challenging set for my younger kids, but my girl could help them to set up with it. Perhaps I should dismantle and keep it away for the time being until they are older to play this again before the tiny parts go missing.

It is again a 3-day-holiday this week but we have no plan to go anywhere. I feel much lazier now and prefer to stay at home with the kids. Perhaps it is due to aging.

I am so busy recently until I almost neglected my child's study. Due to my laziness, QQ is still not as good in her study like most children at age 6. She gets ZERO during BM Ejaan and Chinese Ding Xie beginning of this year. Shame on me!

We made a trip there, on the day I went to Sunway to purchase my camera. The I-City was situated at Shah Alam, so it was not very far away. Wanna know where I bought my new camera? Actually best is find out where is the cheapest, then go to the nearest outlet and ask them if they can sell with the same package at the same price.

For Sony NEX, I found out that, the best place to buy is Digital Mall where its only Rm2299 (without any freebies included). Since hubby did not wanna go there (he was so afraid that the tumbling down building will somehow tumble AGAIN??, we bargain for the price of Rm2499 (offered by Key Color Mid Valley which includes accessories) with Fotokem Sunway. Why Sunway? Because I have to get my little brother to check the camera for me:)

Good money is definitely not easy to make these days. Even online business needs lots of effort and commitment in order to make good money. Not as easy as you think.

I find that buying power especially for us in this country is getting smaller, way too small as compare to those who work and earn at our neighbouring country (you know which country I am refering to.

Stubborn kids

Although I am still sane enough not to take my life away, escaping from all the madness at home, I think I need medical and drugs help to keep myself mentally sane. I feel it is really too mentally challenging for me to manage the frequent cries and wailing of the boys plus the stubornness of my first child that almost makes me vomit blood most of the time.

If God has given me a body that is fit to take care of a pair of crazy twins, I think it is only fair that He gives me a stable mind to control my mental state as well. Really can’t wait for the boys to grow up a little faster so I can quickly dump them all away, into daycare and gain back my life again!

The boys will soon turning 2. And yet, we have not give much thought to our future investment yet. Although we do not have much savings now, but I think it is good to investing in gold, as a keepsake for the kids future. At least we know that this metal get valuable over the years since it is getting limited in resources. Using a DSLR

Before I returned the Nikon D90 to my brother, I brought the boys to a nearby park and did some shooting again. Boy, it was hot and too tiring. I hate our weather now and I remembered it wasn’t so hot when I was younger! (or is it I have higher body heat now that I am bigger and fatter?)

Also, I realised it is not as easy to do photography with young little boys, which still requires a lot of attention, in terms of feeding, carrying them. So I have decided a heavy camera like that is definitely not for me. No time to focus and care for the expensive camera as I need to place my full attention to the boys during outing.

Might consider a 4/3 later, if budget permits.

It is certainly not cheap to buy health care produce these days. A few days back, a friend of mine introduced the Amway product to me, for slimming and also detox purpose. Just a few bottles of supplement already cost more than 400 bucks. Can you imagine that? But of course, those are renowned product in the market.

Science Centre for the kids

We took the opportunity to visit the Science Centre at Bukit Damansara 2 weeks back while they were having this Free Entry promotion for the month of April. It was a great opportunity to expose QQ to science as she frequently have difficult questions to ask about science and the universe. However most of the things exhibit there is still difficult for her to understand at this age.

Into playgroup again

Am so happy to go back to playgroup again. No, it isn’t the playgroup at the venue, Sg.Long Buddhist Society, where I used to organised.

Instead I brought the boys to join a friend, to join this playgroup, a Christian based one, situated near our place. Here we parents do not have to go on duty roster. Instead everything (from free play, circling time, snack, cafts) is prepared upfront, and there are 3 helpers to run the play and we only have to pay a minimal fee of Rm15 fee / kid/month.

It is easy for the boys, as they could speak, communicate to anyone unlike their shy sister. It was really fun for them. However we did not take any pictures this round (shy coz its the first time for us there, also). Shall take some pictures and share with you again next week.

QQ move like a swan now

This girl of mine, I can't believe that she could dance so well. She has just started dancing 5 months ago, and teacher has moved her up a grade from pre-primary to Primary at Ballet. Although she is a little plump now, we also notice that it is easy for her to follow dance instruction and move so gracefully during class. It is so nice to see my own daughter wearing so prettily and move like a swan. If she loves dancing and making up herself in future, I shall enroll her into the famous Cosmetology school in Ohio, hoping that she will good care of her appearance and look good, unlike her overly simple mum.

Improvement in study

QQ's school homework is getting harder these days. I realised that I have neglected her a lot recently as she was getting it all wrong at her ejaan and "ding xie". Initially I thought she is such a slow learner but as I put more effort into teaching and guiding her, she seems able to catch up easily and learn quicker too. Even her results in school got better. Am really proud of her improvement, although she might not be the best in school :)

Attending playgroup again

We are finally attending playgroup again! I am joining some playgroup run by some organisation, starting next Tuesday where the boys are starting to attend playgroup. Some asked if I will be start running the one at Buddhist Society. Although I wish to, but I think timing is not right yet as I will need to do a lot preparation for that. Will see how it goes with the boys first for the first month. Can't wait to go next Tuesday!

It is so expensive to raise kids today. Not only they require so much of our attention and time, they need materials too. And the scary part is, kids can be very materialize nowadays.

Knowing the value of gold, my girl just asked me for my gold necklace a moment ago. She said she like that too and hope that I'll allow her to wear it. But it is too pricey for a little kid like her, isn't it? Seeing the future value of gold, I told her I'll buy gold bullion with her collected money from the red packet and make an investment for her.

I am starting to worry the depreciation of my cash sitting in the bank. With the low interest from the saving, I think the money is not gonna be useful after many years later. My mum suggested that it is best to use the money to buy some shares and keep them for long term. After all, they will appreciate over the years. But on the other hand, hubby prefers commodity investment like gold or silver. Unlike shares, commodity does not require about knowledge or experience in investment. It has a more stable price over the years and very unlikely it will depreciate badly. However it is better to get reputable company like the american silver eagle to manage our hard earn money.

I am starting to worry as my boys are now taking too much of my time. Instead of spending more hours in front of the laptop, now I have to chase them all day long. I can only run to my laptop once in a while to check and reply urgent emails/orders. Since my neighbour is hospitalized now, I had to send QQ to school myself and even pick up her and some neighbour’s kids. Sometimes I even take more than 24 hours to reply emails, which can be quite embarrassing especially when I am running on online business.

Recent Discovery

After using cloth pad for my menses almost a year, I sometimes cannot be bothered if there are unremoveable stains on my pads. I am still sceptical about if it really gonna grow bacteria in the between layers so I decided to open up an old pad to check. Guess what’s my finding?

As I do not bother to soak with soapy water (you see, I can change new ones as frequent as I want, hehe…) the surface sometimes leaves stains. When I cut it up, I am SO SURPISE to see that the inner layers (right to the bottom) is actually as good as new!! Wonder why??

Well, the answer is because blood (blood from any part of our body, not just menses) is easily staineable ONLY when it is exposed to air. It will be good to sun your pads on the line as sun not only kills bacteria (hey, our blood is sterile anyway, OK!), it works great as a whitening agent too. But even if you don’t, you can now be assured that your pads is really clean in the inside (see picture above). Don’t believe, go open up your pad and check it out yourself

My laptop is dying

I can’t believe it. Since last Saturday, my 2.5 years Lenovo laptop has totally died on me,with no sign of power supply when I press on the ON button. Not sure if it is the adapter that is not working or my laptop that had passed away. I hope it does not as I have not saved all my work details onto my external drive.

What I am really sad is that I just spent RM200 to replace a new keyboard on my laptop. I should have gotten an external keyboard and attached to it instead of getting an original one from Lenovo :(

Sigh…won’t be able to go online for the time being.

My wooden cot

Not wanting to let our girl sleeping in the bouncing net, we bought a nice bed and comfy bedding for our girl and placed it at her nanny when she was 6 months old. Since it was a huge one, she has been sleeping in it till four beside me as the bed is attached to our bed.

I still remember how fun and how excited I was when we were shopping for her bedding. I immediately feel in love with the lovely and sweet design available in most shopping malls. Eventually we decided a unisex theme and got one from one of the Baby Bedding online store.

But when our 2nd twin babies came along, we hardly put them in too, as it is more convenient for them to co-sleep with me at night due to easy breastfeeding. However it really works great as extension to my bed so that we have bigger space to turn around. Even if the boys rolled into it, I would not have to worry about them falling off the bed.

I doubt they will want to sleep in there for many years just like their sister. Luckily I can still convert it into a pretty daybed for my living hall for their nap later on.

Great picnic at Damai

Anyone saw me in Facebook already knows how *burning and exploding* mad I was a few days back. Anyhow I had a great weekend at the Damai Picnic and I shall share the happy thing first.

Really, I did not expect this picnic to be so fun, especially for the kids (how I wish I am a kid again!) There are so many activities arranged for kids

Dealing with complex human being

I do not know how I ended with a degree in economic. With totally no interest with the corporate world, my degree ended up sitting in no where and here I am, stuck with kids at home all day, having to handling madness at home. It can be really mental torturing if I do not have anyone to talk to. Luckily I chat almost daily with friends online. If I am given a choice to upgrade myself, I would definitely want to get myself a online degree related to human and communication. Perhaps I should check out the online program offered by the Capella university to see what they have to offer.

Avoiding crowded places

Afraid of going to crowded places, it has been quite sometime since we went to the mall. Since it was quite boring on last weekend, hubby suggested we go out but my little girl insisted on having us wearing mask. I am really amaze to learn that she has so much awareness on H1N1 after teacher talk to them about (such as proper way to wash hands, avoiding crowded places and such).

Aiyo…if wanna wear mask, might as well we stay at home, right? Furthermore, how to get my 2 boys to wear mask ler? Eh, we have not get insurance for our kids ler. Since we do not have the budget to increase our monthly premium, we are actually under insured with our current policy. How I wish the life insurance rates are made more affordable for big families like ours.

I just realise I can really do pretty well when it comes to artwork design. Realizing it is time that Mama Patch comes out with proper leaflet since the products are already in the stores, I decided to design and print some promotional media as give outs.

It is indeed tiring taking care of the boys especially at this stage when they are learning to walk. Didi has been very cranky these days and want me to carry him almost at all time. With flu and cough, his appetite is really lousy and he just would not eat. Korkor on the other hand, just not willing to sleep on his own at night.

The kids can really drive me crazy especially when now I am rushing for some artwork done. How nice if we can really take a break and go for a refreshing family vacation to catch some fresh air.

33rd birthday

This is the 2nd year I celebrate my birthday with 3 kids. For dinner, I just prepared nasi lemak for the family. Told hubby not to get any cake but instead he came back home with 3 big slices of cake from Secret Recipe.

Initially I wanted to go to spend a nice weekend at the Japanese buffet (heard so much about this place), but after a second thought, it is really too pricey to spend for a meal like this. Furthermore, it might be difficult also for us to eat in peace since 2 boys will be making lots of noise. Better save the money and go later when they are bigger.

Low confident child

First my girl thinks that “specky is UGLY”. Then recently, she refuse to join the kids for games at her best friend’s birthday party in Mac Donald.

Last weekend it was the second time QQ was invited to attend a birthday party at Mac D. Just like the first time, she refuse to sit in with her friends, but instead “kepit” under my wings with sitting with the parents. When games started, Iris came over to pull her hand to play, but she just refuse (although I tried to bring her out to hold her friend’s hands). The moment, I let go, she will run back to me like a small little children.

I am really sad to see my girl behave this way. Although she is now already 2nd year in pre-school, can see that her confident level is way too low compare to kids her age. Now I am tempted to enroll her into after school classes so that she can mix with more people without me around.

Just some update on my boys:
Despite already one year old, my punk hair twin boys only have hairs in the middle of their head. Not sure why, they are still almost hairless. At their 2nd pnuemmococal jab yesterday (we were poorer by Rm560 again this round visit), their weight and height was found below average (chart slopping downward). Doctor was a bit concern and asked to do a blood test to check on their iron deficiency. Bills on jabs are already too high so I though it is not neccessary to do the test. Furthermore, insufficient in iron is normal for breastfed babies, right?

How I wish we have more disposable income so that I could send my girl to music class like dancing or taking up violin. With only hubby working alone now, we really have to consider every single cent spent as there is so many mouths to feed. At least the boys are still young and still solely on breast milk plus some solid food.

With less income from blogging now, I am still finding ways to increase my income from other ways. I really wish we have more money to keep aside for savings, or better still, invest in good commodity like the silver bars so that the value will appreciate when we cash it out in future.

The boys first birthday will be arriving in another 2 months time. I wonder what we should be getting for them, as their first birthday. We have even planned up a birthday party in Melaka in this coming school holiday and also a mass picnic celebration in KL. As I hope that their birthday celebration will be a memorable one, there are so many things to prepare if I really want to make it very unique. Maybe I should suggest getting one gold coin as a gift for each of them as gold is the best investment where its value is preserved.

I just can’t help but feeling proud of myself that I am still able to breastfeed the boys now, at 10 months. I know, it sounds almost unbelievable to most as it takes a lot of effort to successfully breastfeed one baby, what’s more feeding two.

Yesterday while running my errands, I was talking to some ladies while waiting for my food and they commented that my twins must be “pricey” in terms of spending on milk powder and disposable diapers. Not wanting to explain in details about cloth diapering in a hot coffee shop, I just merely tell them they are not that expensive, apart from being difficult to take care of. Reason is because they are still on breastmilk only, and we have not invest a single sen on formula as of today.
Guess where their eyes go to immediately after that? I bet anyone listen to my answer would shift their eyes to would be anxious to find out if I am that BIG to be able to feed TWO! *common reaction*

Fear after birth

Recently there are so many friends around who are due in their pregnancy. It is always fun and amazing when we sit down to share stories about pregnancy and giving birth. I have a two totally different experience in giving birth to QQ and the boys. First was a natural assisted birth and second round, I had to go through c-section. Silly as it sounds, going to toilet can be a big deal for mothers especially who received stitches after going through vaginal delivery. My SIL told me it was a scary experience for them as they only have those squat toilets in the past. Luckily we have very comfortable handicapped toilet seats now, and those are pretty useful not only to post partum mothers, but also the handicapped.

From the first day I decided to use WP, I never had an easy life with it. First time I got a stranger helping me to set up this humble blog of mine. Then I kacau Papajoneh to do the auto upgrade for me.

And now, since I am having my blogs hosted seperately, it is best (and cheaper) to combine into one hosting. I should have migrated this blog from another host when I signed up with Exa during their sale promotion (which accepts Addon Domains). I just did not have the courage to do so last year, afraid that I might lost everything when migration is being done. How true it is, if I am the one who do the migration this time. So instead of having me doing it (initially was guided by CP), eventually it was ALL done solely by Chooi Peng (guess she just could not stand talking IT to someone like me anymore). I must admit that she has been a great teacher, guiding me here and there, but I guess I am just too lousy to understand how this whole madness works.

My greedy twin

I expected jealousy to start between the boys, but it happens even sooner than I thought.

Whenever one boy sees me carrying another, he will change his face expression to a pity look. Then he will start crying asking me to carry him too. So now, whenever I breastfeed them, I have to also feed another at the same time. Unlike when they were younger, tt is not that difficult to feed 2 babies at the same time as I can just “drag and adjust” their limbs and bodies to me easily since they are harder on their bones.

There are lots of funny position that I can think of when feeding them, particular Di-di. He would sometimes climb over me, going round like a clock. Sometimes they poke each other in eyes, and sometimes they pull hairs and ears of another party. At one time, he even pushed poor Kor-kor away, and continue helping himself with Kor-kor’s meal!

Each breastfeeding moment is such a memorable experience for me. If only I could have pictures to share…, but hmm….it is so difficult. *hint hint to Jazzmint and Sue’s help on our next photography session*

First vacation for the boys

We have made a booking with the hotel by taking 4 rooms for a big family vacation this coming month. We are going to a cool place (can guess where we are going?). This reminds me to start packing for the kids. I booked 2 rooms while the other 2 will be share among 3 sis-in-laws. I am very excited as this will be the first family vacation for the boys. Although it would be a short distance trip, it would be fun to go with other family members so that there will be extra pair of hands helping out with the boys. By going in a group, at least QQ will have someone to accompany her on the fun rides. As for myself, I can't wait to dine at my favourite restaurants again! Will reveal more when we come back with some photos to share.

Unlike before, now I get tired easily. Probably it is because if the boys, or probably age is catching up. I must admit that I was not as energetic as before. We used to shop for hours before the arrival of our twin boys. During my schooling days, I could reach the shopping malls before it opens and leave only when it was about to close. I miss those energy, I miss those momentum!

Di-di is down with flu

Just shortly after Kor-kor’s recovery from Roseola, again I got to endure another series of sleepless night. This time it is Di-di! Surprisingly Roseola did not get him (although they share their milk supply, you know what I mean), but he is down with flu since 2 days ago. Poor baby Then could not drink well, and sleep too, as his nose is badly blocked.

It is only since yesterday night he could sleep better after taking the flu medicine. I know flu bugs are inevitable in every childhood, but can’t it just spare me a few moments of recovery after the last episode? Arrgh…..I kept on asking myself, what is the use of being chubby and cute while they not blessed with good health?

I am currently in the midst of planning of a product launching (will not expose now though). Instead of just taking care of the kids at home, I hope to do something such as starting up a small scale business. It would be a good chance to plan something now. While browsing to get my product supply, I even came upon large scale home online business who supplies fabric, accessories, rare stones and even beautiful designer costume jewelry to retailers. Online purchase is so common now that we can even sell good quality products with just a fraction of price to end users now.

It is indeed quite challenging to be a full time mother. Instead of being able to sit and communicate in front of my laptop, now I have to spend more time with the boys. Although they still cannot crawl, they definitely cannot sit quietly in one place for long anymore. They wanna be carried after playing for awhile. Even attention spam is shorter now and they cannot play with one toy for long. Sometimes I really feel like giving up and run away these madness to go out to work instead. I don't know, I really don't know now.

Bento-ing again

I start to put effort to make pretty bentos for QQ again. So inspired by motheringcorner.com, I hope to be able to create presentable meals for my little one. She still prefer to eat only meat, and bread is still her favourite. It is not easy to decorate a nice lunch box without any greens. I hope by making her cute food, she will slowly likes to take more greens from now onwards.

Coin collector

Knowing the value of money, now my girl is beginning to collect coins from us whenever she sees them. She asked for a nice coin box. Later when hubby opens an account for her in the bank, she would be able to get one. So temporary I am making a big coin box for her to put all her saving into it. My mother used to be a coin collection and she has some good old coin collection with her until today. It must have worth a lot, since they are very old coins, and some even in foreign currency. Probably my girl is just like her grandmother. It is good indeed to have a great hobby like that besides making a good saving too.

After a long, long wait, finally the boys are able to play with their sister now. At almost 8 months, now they love to snatch things from each other. Whenever the boys see their sister playing with something, they would love to have it on their hands too. Little Di-di is even worse as he can chase his sister around the house. Thank goodness he is still in his walker, therefore his movement is a bit constraint. I cannot imagine what it would be like when the boys are able to walk independently on their own, very very soon!

I hear a lot of request from QQ nowadays. Unlike when she was younger, it is easier for her peers to influence her now. Whenever she sees what her friends have, she will come back and start to push me into getting one for her. When I refuse, she will start to get angry, and most of the time even pour her anger back at me. I cannot really blame her, but I do hope to be able to change the way she thinks. I can only blame it on myself that she has my gene!

Making up

I guess it is common for all girls wanting to look at their best. So goes for my girl. At 5, she has more awareness on how she looks. Instead of choosing her clothing, she prefers to choose it by herself. Whenever we are going out, she would automatically ask me if I am going to apply any make up. If I do, she would want to do for herself too. Probably she feels proud to be able to look pretty and dainty like Mummy? I admit that I am not really good at applying cosmetic and sometimes I think I made myself looks like a clown instead! I think I should sign up a basic beauty course from the cosmetology schools in kansas to improve my skill when the boys are bigger later on.

Still not crawling

They still do not start crawling :) Maybe we hardly put them down on the floor, instead they were in their walker all the time. Hubby just made me realize how unsafe it is to put them down in our hall as the floor tiling was not done properly. There are many sharp corners between the joints which may cut their delicate skin if the crawl on their tummy. But we still need to put them down, don't we? Sigh....if only we can afford to do timber flooring on our whole floor for the kids!

Crazy milk drinker

I am a heavy milk drinker. I drink at least 2 cups of milk everyday since I was young.

When I got pregnant with QQ, my mum advised me to drink the Ensure Milk from Abbott (she even bought it for me). It is highly nutritious and expensive soy milk (even suitable for be used as meal replacement). With the high nutrition, not sure if it is fattening (I hope I will not need to take diet pills after consuming this. However I could not tolerate the taste of soy at my first pregnancy.

A tin of 1000g cost about RM55. My mum and her friends who drank this milk during their pregnancy swears by it. I drank a lot when I carried my twin boys. Now the boys are blessed with fair and smooth skin :)

Cute little things

It is fun to browse online looking at cute little things when I am free. Now that my little girl has grown up, there are lots of things which I can get for her. Sometimes we go into website to search for cute wedding favors. I am glad that she is here to share with me, giving me suggestion what to get by telling me which looks better.

With the convenience of online shopping, she would probably get addicted to online shopping like I do. I remember I used to purchase lots of these little cute stuffs as gifts for friends (and even myself) on special occasions.

Sweet smelling Mama

Although the boys still on direct breastfeeding, they love to drink plain water from milk bottle (I use Dr Baby smelly rubber teats). I introduce bottle to them quite some time ago as I afraid they would not accept bottle milk when they grow up in future. I tried giving them formula through bottle (just for fun to see if I can escape from breastfeeding at times) but they throw out upon sucking it. *No luck escaping from the boys*. At this moment, they are still very attached to me. The only time I can escape is during their morning porridge feed (that is the only 2 hours I zoom out to do my facial treatment). Taking solid now could at least keep their little tummy filled for a while before they decided to sniff and smell Mummy again….

QQ is getting married

My little girl has really grown up. Now she begins to go into things like married, flowers and princess. She no longer fancy little cartoon like Barney and Friends. All she wants now, is to be a Princess by wearing princess shirt, taking princess labeled belongings and even her dainty little shoes.

Girls are girls! When I got a bouquet on the V Day, she kept on carrying here and there and posing with it, as if she is getting marry. I even taught her to sprinkle droplets on it each evening, to keep her busy with the flowers. She told us that she is getting married. She looks so sweet. Hubby and I will surely make sure that she will have a nicely planned wedding in future, on her special day. I hope she would allow me to make arrangement on her special day. Sigh...will surely feel heavy hearted to let go my pretty little girl on her wedding day.

Lion Dance

My little girl fancy the Lion Dance very much ever since she was young. She has a mini head and she used to perform lion dance with her father behind her. She even stay up late at night now to watch the NTV7 local drama series just because of the Lion dance.

This year her school organised one during their CNY celebration. I was there too, taking videos with my camcorder with one hand while another hand closing my son’s ear!

It is indeed difficult to bring the Bumbo Boys out to crowded area like that without hubby. I even had to reach school 30mins earlier, just to make sure I get a good parking right in front of the school so that I would not have to go round in the housing area looking for a space.

Difference between the boys

As the twin boys grow, I notice that their real character begins to show more. One has more traits of mummy and one has more trait of daddy. Can guess who? It is so difficult to take care of didi as he gets really angry and scream all his might when mummy goes away. Korkor on the other hand will cry but not as loud as didi. Poor Korkor, I can see that he will be his little brother's victim in future!

Sick Baby Then

It takes a lot of energy to take care of twins, really! It is difficult enough to take care of one baby, what’s more when there is another, with the same level of demand at the same time. Situation gets worse when one child in the family falls sick. For instant, when Baby Zhen was down with Roseola, I was having a series of sleepless night as he was so cranky and wanted to be carried at all time. Shortly after his recovery a week ago, now Baby Then is down with flu again. For the last two nights, he could not even sleep due to breathing difficulty. Luckily I got myself a bottle of saline spray from Medical Supply to standby. At least a temporary relieve when he gets really cranky at times.

Before the twin boys were born, I have been cracking my head thinking how the earth should I sleep with 3 kids + breastfeeding 2 boys at the same time. Since birth the boys were with me on the king size bed until we run out of space (got to separate them as they start to turn 360 degree and kick each other). I tried putting one baby in cot and QQ on the king size bed with one baby. She ended up kicking her poor brother :(

Therefore our arrangement obstacles are:
* 3 kids have to be separated into their own beds
* All side must be railed so that they do not roll down

Even small matter like that makes my parenting journey so challenging. Not easy when you have twins yeah...

Review for best restaurant

It has been long since hubby and I dine in fine restaurant. We used to, to celebrate our Valentine’s Day. Hubby used to make upfront reservation in hotels for dine and wine. Usually the dinner even comes with a stalk of red rose. Sometimes I even got chocolate and little gifts, complimentary from the hotel management. Each year before the real celebration, hubby would take the pain to call some of the major hotels in town, to search for the best deal for our special dinner. He should have refer to the review for the New York Restaurants so that he could see all the recommendation on list at one time without having to call one by one.

A good time to invest

Everywhere we go, we hear lots of retrenchment stories, pay being cut and so. My brother is one victim where his salary has been cut. Luckily it is only a temporary countermeasure taken by his company to ease the bad situation. But not many employees are as lucky as him. Some even lost their job when sales are affected, factories are being closed down.

If we have a good amount of cash in hand, this would be a good time to invest our money. Although it is pretty risky to invest in shares, the return can be pretty high (as long as the company does not go bankrupt!) Another good way to invest is to get some good property from highly sought area. During the economy downturn, the shop lots and houses can be pretty cheap and worth investing. Of course it will be good to loan out to people who need the cash to earn good interest.
Lending out money is easy but not during collection. However we can now engage the Collection Agency to do the collection job on behalf of us easily. It is important to put our money into a trusted company that could really handle the money well. After all it is our hard earn cash.

Lampe Berger oils

I am a long term user of the Lampe Berger and over the past few years, it has bring tremendous benefit to my family. Besides health effect, I find practically useful to freshen up the air when we cook. Hubby loves to freshen up the air at home, especially when someone is sick or whenever we have friends coming over.

Her masterpiece

My little artist can paint! That is what she has been doing lately, paint…paint…paint! Although I do not know what she is having on her paper, I could see that she enjoy her work a lot. She has several colours all over her white paper, most of the time even ended up mixing the colours all together, looking so weird and awful. Well, probably that is what we called art. Her masterpiece is something I cannot buy with money. They are priceless. Although I cannot figure out the picture, I do keep and display some of her art on my wall, to decorate the bare plain looking wall. Visitors are entertained, with her creation.

I plan to frame them up properly, since they make good display to my boring home. As what my ex-nanny used to say, home with children looks lively. I want these masterpieces to last forever, and I will probably send them to professional art storage to keep some of my favourites, to some place that is safe where my arts could last forever. I need someone who I can trust to handle these treasures. They would do great memento or pass down to my grandchildren in future.

Words from a selfish mother

My days are getting packed as the boys grow. I hardly have a chance to sit in front of my computer leisurely nowadays as compare to before. They need my attention, I know and I should be grateful that I have a chance to be their parents, watching them grow at home with my own eyes. It is my personal choice to let go of my own freedom, to be a stay-at-home mum in the first place. Nothing can be more precious than spending time with my own kids, be it letting go of my own time and privacy.

I do still feel remorse over the incident which happened 2 days ago. I still feel bad and ashamed over how an adult with a right mind can behave in this way. I keep on reminding myself that I am lucky that I still able to get up in the next morning, with all my children safe beside me. GOD creates them and put them in my hands so that I could love and nourish them. HE has put his trust on me to take care of them and raise them, to love them and to cherish them. After all, these little helpless children have not done anything wrong. All they want is mummy's warm hug for comfort and milk when they feels hungry. All they need is mummy's attention and love.

I learn my lesson. I do, I really do.

Fever again

Since Christmas last year, Kor-kor has been getting his "monthly fever" and has been put on antibiotic. Not sure the exact cause as blood test has been done, there is nothing to be found. He is always the one and I am so worried whenever I catch him hot in the middle of the night. I am really getting worry if there is some other reason that caused him feverish each month. Hope it is viral infection and nothing else.
